Blown Stretch Film is produced using a blown extrusion process in which the film is slowly cooled by air. This method creates a tougher, more resilient film compared to cast alternatives, offering superior puncture resistance and stronger load retention. Because blown film has natural “memory,” it tends to shrink back toward its original shape, helping to secure irregular or unstable loads throughout transit.

The film has a single-sided cling, ensuring it adheres to itself without sticking to products. Its naturally dull, hazy appearance is a result of the cooling process. Blown Stretch Film is especially effective for odd-sized or pyramidal loads and is most commonly used in hand-wrapping applications due to the louder noise created when unwinding.
