Choosing the Right Filament Strapping Tape

Standard Filament Tape

Standard filament tape features fiberglass strands running lengthwise to provide tensile strength for bundling and reinforcing packages. Available grades include general purpose and industrial options for applications such as bundling rods, tubing, molding, and other materials.

Bi-Directional Filament Tape

Bi-directional filament tape, also called crosswoven filament tape, features reinforcement running both lengthwise and across the tape. This construction provides strength in both directions for applications requiring additional resistance to splitting and tearing.

Our 7 mil bi-directional filament tape is available in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" and 2" widths, with 55-yard rolls packaged by the case.
